Being you

I recently watched a video on YouTube titled How To Get A Boyfriend (don't ask me why). The girl made a number of points and tips. When she came to the topic of makeup and the way you look she said that all boys prefer girls to wear the natural look.
This YouTuber has a gigantic following and for her to make a statement like that is horrific! Why? Most everyone has something about then that acts as a shield that protects then from other peoples thoughts and words.  That may be a certain hoodie, or a type if hairstyle. For other people it might be a lot of makeup. They find comfort and refuge in putting on layers of makeup. In life most humans also need to be loved and to love. This lady is telling then to pick one or the other! If you have to feel uncomfortable and incomplete around the person who "loves" you, you definitely need to analyse your relationship. There will always be someone loves you and understands you and will let you be.... you!
My point is that this girl has not got the rights to tell these hundreds of thousands of people how they should look. If your boyf tries to change you (and take you out of your comfort zone) he is definitely not worth your time!

Spring has spung!

Hi there!
I love spring! It's one of my favourite times of the year. The weather starts to get warmer. I believe peoples moods change with the season. And of course all the cute little baby birds and lambs and bunnies are born.....

Actually two birds have taken up residence in our house. On the back exterior wall of my house there was a pipe from the bathroom to the drains. When we got the bathroom done up the men took out that pipe and put it somewhere else leaving a tiny hole.
These clever birds have decided to build a nest in a cavity in the bricks of our house. We see them flying back and forth frantically!

A couple of days ago I realised that my wardrobe needs a serious update! I called my two friends, Maeve and Laura, and we set a  date for a mini shopping spree.
Spring is also a chance to try out new looks for you. I have made a spring resolution to wear more cheerful colourful clothes mainly because I'm the kind of person who can just sink into a black hoodie and Jeans and spend a day being boring and uneventful. I have also challenged myself to wear a skirt for the whole day which  I have never been able to do...

To me spring just started with the Easter holidays but we're well into it by now. Have a very nice day!

New me, New blog

Hi guys! Its me, Clare.... Wow, where have the months gone. It's April! I feel terrible about not posting anything for so long. Why have I not been posting? This bog isn't me.

I suppose I've changed since Maeve revamped my blog. I'm now interested in more things. I have a new outlook and I want to have a fresh blog that I'm interested in. I'm talking about this "new blog" but I'm not going to actually make a new blog. I'm just going to bring all the new stuff I want my blog to have to this one.

Nothing is going to drastically change it's just I feel my blog is lacking structure and character which are two things it should definitely have.

I'm so excited for this new look and I hope you will be too. I look forward to setting you in my next post!

Alex. A dare

Hello blissiers. How's it going? I'm pretty good. Yesterday Alex, in my class dared me to write a blog post about him so I decided to write a very short short story about him. Here it is...

Alex scampered down the dark alley, his tall frame bent over. He held a small briefcase close to his chest. It was battered and scruffy looking from many years of use. He stopped, glanced around and proceeded down another alleyway, this time looking around him as if expecting to see someone.
"Behind you, you dimwit." A voice hissed. Alex spun around standing there was his master Laura.
"Well? Have you got it?" Laura growled.
"Yes yes... Right here... In my case...mmm.... Yes it is" Alex murmured.
"And Maeve was not a problem? After all what could one expect from that blithering idiot."
"No ma'am.... It was like stealing candy from a baby... Yes... Yes it was" Alex muttered.
Just then Charlie stepped out from behind a bin.
"I just recorded that whole conversation!" He announced.
"Why should I care?" Laura mocked.
"Because I also have the case!"
Laura gasped, astounded. She produced a gun and shot Charlie right between the eyes. He crumpled to the ground. Alex giggled nervously. Suddenly Charlie jumped up "you think one bullet is enough to kill me?" He skipped down the backstreet with the case under his arm. The two criminals stood in shock. Charlie could feel the warm blood trickle down his nose. He licked it up hungrily. "What's for lunch" he wondered.

That was my terrible short story. Sorry Alex... I have failed... Ooh well... Night night!

Christmas Countdown Day 11

Hello! It's already Christmas Eve. Already? I don't really think it has sunk in yet with me. December has flown by, yet something gives me the idea today won't go fast enough. Typical.

Have you got all your Christmas shopping done yet? I would hope so! I obviously have mine done.... Well... There are a few things....

I'm super excited! I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's blog post. I'm planning to do a "my day in pictures". I know it'll be Christmas, and my countdown will be technically over but I think that this is what the last 11 posts have been leading up to and it's important that this day is special. I'm currently I'm my grannies house. My brother, James is reading the Argos catalogue (bit late for that), my dad is snoozing in my grannies armchair (nothing new there), and my other brother, Hugh, is playing angry birds.

It's getting late and we're about to leave. See you tomorrow!

Christmas Countdown Day 10

I meant to post this earlier but thanks to no internet I couldn't.

Hey guys! Wassup? It's day 10 of my Christmas Countdown and what's more, Friday was the last day of school... I'm free at last! Really, I was starting to get a bit feed up of school. Sadly, for some reason, my internet isn't working so this will probably be posted a bit late. It is only 3 (no it's not) days until Christmas Eve! I know that I certainly, have been preparing for Christmas. This is a list of some of the things I have been doing to prepare for Christmas/winter.

1. Being EXTRA good in the hope that Santa will be generous.
2. Started fattening my self up for Christmas dinner.
3. Doing a spot of Christmas shopping for friends and family.
4. Practicing the song I will be singing at mass on Christmas Day. Alone.
5. Acquiring Christmassy jumpers. 100% necessary, no exceptions.
6. Painting & redecorating my room. It was in bad need of it.
7. Belting Christmas carols at the top of my voice, around the house. Deafening everyone in the process..
8. Making Christmas Countdown blog posts.
9. Dressing up as a shepherd and embarrassing myself. (I'm pretty positive shepherds didn't wear dressing gowns and tea towels on their heads).
10. Trying to find my mums hiding places for the Nutella. So far I've found it in the towel drawer, the garage, the cabinet for plates and stuff and under the bed.
11. Watching 2+ episodes of Dance Moms. Again completely necessary.
12. Making a crib for school.
13. Watching diy Christmas decoration tutorials for my room.
14. Making diy Christmas decorations.
15. Finally, I have been practising some Christmas carols on my viola for our concert tomorrow.

I'm currently sitting in the car waiting for my Mum to come out of the shops. Boring. I really regret not going in with her but ah well. At least she's getting rashers. I cannot believe it's so close to Christmas!

Christmas Countdown Day 8

Hey there! You may have noticed I forgot to post for not 1 day, not 2 days, but 3 whole days. I'm sooooooooooo sorry! Ugh I am a failure.
With that apology over and done with I better get on with the post. Wow it's only 10 days until Christmas Eve. Yippee! For todays blog post I thought I might tell you what I would ask for if I had three wishes.

But firstly, I usually ignore ads on television, like most people, but the other day I saw an ad that really touched me. I congratulate who ever made this ad. I only saw it once but it was enough to melt my heart. It was about a hare and a bear. They were obviously best friends, but when winter came the bear of course had to hibernate. The hare felt very lonely when the bear curls up in a cave and goes to sleep. On Christmas Eve the hare comes in and gives his sleeping friend a present. I won't tell you what that present is in case you haven't already seen it. If you haven't and you would like to, you can look for the "hare and the bear" on YouTube.

Back to todays post. This is what I would wish for if I had three wishes.

1. I would wish for the opportunity to be the best I could be and to achieve the most I could achieve. I don't believe that anyone should get something with out working for it.
2. I would wish that I could be the most optimistic person I could be. I would wish that I could be happy and content with life no matter how rough it may be.
3. My last wish would be a bit more materialistic than the first two. I would wish that when I retired I could move down to the country, where I could spend the rest of my life with my many dogs and hopefully my family.

This is what I would do if I had three wishes. But what would you do? I hope you enjoyed this post and I will try my best to post tomorrow.
Until next time!
Clare
